Steps To Fix Your Car’s Punctured Tire

1. Find the Leak

2. Loosen the Lug Nuts and Jack up the Car

The second step involves losing the lug nuts to remove the tire. You can do it with an impact wrench or a lug wrench. Do this step before jacking up the car else it can spin dangerously at the time of removing the nuts. 
It’s time to jack up the car to remove the wheels. You can do it by keeping your car on a concrete or plain surface to prevent your car from rolling! Use jack stands to keep the car stabilized. 3. Take off the Lug Nuts and Clean the Hole

Remove the lug nuts entirely so that you take off the wheel from the wheelbase. Now, it’s time to clean the leaking area by inserting the rasp tool in and out of the puncture/hole a few times.

4. Insert the Plug

A plug has to be threaded in the middle of the insertion tool to push it into the hole. For a better seal and an easy insertion, lubricate the plug with an adhesive such as glue or rubber cement. Now, keep the plug intact and don’t move it for at least one minute so that the adhesive sets and dries. Cut out the part of the plug sticking out from the tire surface.

5. Inflate the Tire

In the last step, you have to fill the tire with suggested air pressure in order to ensure the smooth movement of your car. Now, re-install the wheel, remove the floor jack, attach the lugs and tighten them to the proper torque.
