What is a tubeless tire and what are
its benefits??
In simple words,
Tubeless tires are the tires that do not have a separate inner tube. The rim
of the wheel and the tire form an airtight seal.
The
tubeless tires were not so common a few years back. A few years back tubeless tires
were the premium feature of the vehicle manufacturer, but nowadays tubeless
tires are fitted automatically by the companies. However, if you have an older
vehicle that came with tubed tires and you are looking for their tire replacement,
now might be a good time to switch to tubeless tires.
Advantages of tubeless tires:
1. The rate of deflation is slow and uniform, giving drivers enough time to reach the nearest tire repair center. This slow rate of deflation also means that the driver gets enough time to slow down the vehicle.
2. Last longer and are more durable than tube type tires.
3.Repairing a tubeless tire is relatively easy and not so pressing. Your vehicle can run a good number of kilometers if you keep refilling air.
4.Last longer and are more durable than tube- type tires.
5. Running your vehicle with low air pressure can also cause damage to tires with tubes. However, there is no such problem when you have tubeless tires. We still recommend getting your tires regularly checked for air pressure for a smooth driving experience.
6.The lightweight of the tires improves fuel efficiency.
7. Better heat dissipation as the air is indirect contact with the rim.

Installation Steps:
1. Make sure tires and rims are tubeless compatible,
so the tire will make a strong seal against the rim.
2. Make sure rim is properly taped with tubeless
compatible (airtight) rim tape, so that no air can leak out the spoke
holes.
3. Install the valve stem
into the rim.
4. Install the tire onto the rim.
5. Helpful tip: Use a tire lever to pre-seat the bead.
6. Add sealant to the tire, ideally through the valve
stem (remove the core) using a syringe.
7. Inflate the tire, shaking the sealant around as
needed to plug leaks as they appear. Continue to inflate until the bead pops
out fully against the rim.
a. Helpful tip: If the tire isn’t inflating fast enough to
seat the bead, try removing the valve core to let air flow in faster during
inflation
b. Helpful tip: Be patient and continue alternating
pumping with shaking sealant around inside the tire.
